Dutch bulbs are NOT for our warm-winter climate (California) What grows best in the cold winters of Holland tends also to require that cold as well -- hence the
need for tulip bulbs to be refrigerated after you buy them.
My bulbs do not require refrigeration or winter cold, but are hardy down to at least zero degrees fahrenheit,
and some I offer can take it as cold as ordinary daffodils can. Bulbs can be mulched as well. Ask about this if you are from a different part of the country or want
to send the bulbs there. |
